Hello Professor Mark and Class,
After taking a closer look at my physical well being I would give myself a 5 because there are times when I just don't have the time in my day to try to go for a walk. My spiritual well being is a 9 because I have a complete sense of peace within myself also I have a strong relationship in all aspects of my spiritual life. Finally my psychologically well-being is a 5 I wasn't sure how to answer the why for the last one.
Goals
Physical-I want to work on trying to go for a walk or hiking everyday
Spiritual-Work on my meditation everyday also learn yoga and tai chi
Psychological-I want to work on my body image to lose weight and improve how I see myself
Activities/Exercises
Physical-walking, Set time aside each day and go for a walk
Spiritual-Meditation, Put time aside and figure how often I should do my meditation each day or during the week
Psychological-Having more physical activity to help with my self image

aqua blue-purpose/power/creativity

Violet-Universe
While i was listening it was quite interesting but also very refreshing. Especially how we can use our minds or haring a relaxing voice can make us relax,calming and be at peace. At one point the voice asked what I wanted as a goal and I thought owning my own home and becoming a teacher who teaches nutrition.

ReplyDeleteI enjoyed reading your post, how great that you rate yourself at such a high level on your spirituality well being, I hope to get there someday. I think that your goals are great, but psychologically I think you should instead focus on loving yourself the way you are. Loving yourself can make it a lot easier to get up and go for that run or walk. I love how you wrote about what you were thinking of for each color while listening to crime of the century. It sounds like you really enjoyed the audio and got a lot out of it!

DeleteI know I will never have the perfect body but I want to improve my overall health. If I lose some weight great but if I keep up with my meditation I think it will with my spiritualy health too

ReplyDeleteGreat job on your blog posting this week! I felt like I connected with you while reading your post. How awesome you are thinking of being an educator. We need more great teachers to spread the positivity around. Were you able to reach your physical goal of walking or hiking this week? I hope you did because you gave me inspiration to make sure I did. Your explanation of the colors for this week’s relaxation exercise was very detailed. My favorite color was aqua blue. I love the idea of empowering yourself. Hope you have had a wonderful week and I look forward to reading more of your posts.
